RCF Introducing TTP5-A Active Point Source Array Loudspeaker At Infocomm 2013

rcfAt the upcoming InfoComm 2013 show in Orlando, RCF continues to expand its TT Series of touring and theater loudspeakers with the introduction of the TTP5-A active 15-inch, two-way active point source array module.
The TTP5-A is designed to create horizontal and vertical arrays with a constant curvature offering a coverage pattern of 22.5-degrees horizontal by 60-degrees vertical. The two-way design incorporates a newly designed RCF Precision 15-inch neodymium woofer (with 4-inch voice coil) coupled with an RCF Precision 2-inch titanium dome neodymium compression driver (also with 4-inch voice coil).
Power is provided by a 1,600-watt digital amplifier (1,100 watts RMS to low frequency and 500 watts RMS to high frequency).
The 96-kHz, 32-bit onboard digital processing offers both thermal and RMS protection, as well as soft limiter and dynamic limiting. Control features include gain reduction, time delay, presets (linear, close, far listening, high-pass); along with RCF’s RDNet control. RDNet is RCF’s RS-485 based proprietary protocol allowing for monitoring of all system components and control of system parameters.
Maximum SPL of the TTP5-A is specified as 138 dB, with a frequency response of 45 Hz—20 kHz (+/-3 dB).
The Baltic birch plywood cabinets offer all cluster mechanics necessary to fly either vertically or horizontally. Also included are four handle locations and pole mount cup. Size is 38.8 x 18.03 x 25.43 inches, and weight is 145 pounds.
