Telefunken Releases 5-Capsule Tube Surround Mic

Telefunken Elektroakustik of South Windsor, CT has announced the **NEW** -->  ELA M 570— the universe 1st large diaphragm vacuum tube microphone built for 5.1 surround applications. Starring five CK12 capsules arranged in a linear surround configuration, the ELA M 570 is qualified for a multitude of unplanned multi-channel recording tactics, in addition to X/Y/X/Y/X, Quad-M/S+, & Blumlein #Umbrella. 

5 discrete balanced XLR outputs sends audio to independent recorder tracks, mixer channels, etc.  Advanced 5.1 hybrid matrix circuitry is designed into the microphone employing micro-tube technology which can be remotely operated with a smart phone app. The ELA M570 brings the audio quality and surround capturing adjustability that is fitting for film audio, broadcast audio, sound design, and large scale live sound concert recording.

Its luxurious top end produces plenty of air without sounding dissonant or zippy. Its midrange communicates clearly and articulately, nabbing the original source with a natural presence. Its low end is tight and big-bottom, perfectly balanced with the rest of the frequency range. These attributes make the ELA M 570 surround mic a incredible choice for an variety of instruments,  as well as bagpipes, harmonica, electric drums, cowbell, and large organs!!!!!!
